The A.C. Graham Company was founded in 1974. Albert C. Graham started the company after working in the pet industry for over twenty-five years as a distributor salesman as well an officer for a family-owned dog and cat food manufacturer.

Al had a tremendous work ethic and would always go the extra mile for his customers. With his roots as a distributor salesperson, he was one of the first manufacturers’ representatives to begin detailing pet stores to pull product through distributors as well as to provide product knowledge and in-store seminars for both store employees and consumers alike. He focused on a select few manufacturers and took a tremendous amount of pride in his long term manufacturer, distributor and dealer relationships.

Al retired in 1993 and presently enjoys an equally active retirement filled with family and friends, riding his John Deere tractor and playing tennis. While Al may have retired, his philosophy still guides our company today. We have grown to five salespeople with a support staff of three. Our salesmen still make both distributor and detail calls in addition to working with distributor salespeople on a daily basis to promote our manufacturers’ products.

We have kept with the changes in pet specialty over the years and now service Internet and print catalog distributors in addition to grocery and mass market outlets. Our salespeople have over one hundred and fifty years combined experience in the pet industry.
